Further Leyland Tigers / East Lancs Myllennium Hylines acquired from Stagecoach East Scotland (Strathtay)
in April were DFP 492Y, MSL 469X
& A234 USR which were Stagecoach 25815/7/8, and previously Strathtay
427/9/30. These latest Tigers join
D315 SGB, A127 ESG and THL 290Y, which were
acquired in February ex-Stagecoach 25814/6/9, and previously Strathtay 425/8/31.
All six were rebodied by East Lancs in 2000 and are now being prepared for further
service as W57-62.
Re-registrations to note are Leyland Tiger / Plaxton
Paramount F341 XFR to B8 WTN, Volvo B10M / Van Hool P822 GBA to B9 WTN and
Leyland Tiger / East Lancs Myllennium D315 SGB to B11 WTN, A127 ESG to A12 WTN, A234 USR to A15 WTN
and MSL 469X to WWW 883.
Withdrawn and
sold are Leyland Lynx W33/4/50 (C64/6/3 HOM).
Bristol VRT / Eastern Coach Works W9
JWV 273W has been
sold for preservation. This was the first service bus to be acquired by Woottens
and has been in use with us for almost eight years. We are delighted to see the
vehicle enter preservation with the new owners.

The company introduced fleet numbers to the
bus and coach fleet during 2007. The system has been back-dated to when the company started
in 1999, with each vehicle fleet number being in date order from purchase.
